final presentation of the design department
From 29 January to 6 February 2011 by the SANAA building on world heritage Zollverein this year's exhibition of final projects of the graduates of the courses industrial design, communication design and photography at the Folkwang University of the Arts instead. The exhibition of works from the fields of Three-dimensional and experimental design, photography, graphics, illustration, interface design and industrial design is accessible from 11 bis 16 day clock, with free admission.
From RUHR.2010 flea market in Hall 5 was only a stone's throw to the SANAA building, so that a visit to the exhibition was due. On the ground and 1 Upstairs there are all sorts of strange things, but also many useful exhibits. Examples include the inflatable bathtub "load up" by Christopher Heidler, an avalanche rescue system (airbag jacket) by Cleo Leonardi, a feedback system for the prevention of sports injuries by Christoph Piechatzek, drinking water supply in areas of conflict "TWA 450" by Felix von Looz or robot to the accompaniment of pets from You Wu called.
