meeting of European Film 9.-17.04.2011
The French club organized for the first time a replica European film event for young people , "REJ (Rencontre Européenne de Jeunes) , in the period of 9 to 17 held April 2011 in Strasbourg is. This invites replica about 20 young men and women (aged 18 to 30 years) from Germany and France. Participants should come in to the half of Berlin and the other half from Paris and Strasbourg.
theme of the meeting is "Germany / France: Paintings and prejudice" .
questions the cultural characteristics of the two countries should be explored together. We want to go out of stereotypes and clichés, which prevent the Franco-German dialogue. In addition, it is about "the scene" in general and to the cinema in particular (eg the respective film cultures of the two countries). Joint work in theoretical and practical "studio" round numerous meetings with experts and film professionals from. The resulting knowledge can then see a short film in, which will be of the participants realized.
language skills are not required. Desirable but: Film / Cinema passion (in theory and practice), desire for a French-German meetings and exchanges, willingness to participate in the above subjects (representation of cities, clichés, stereotypes).

The number of participants is limited, the registration fee is 120 Euro travel expenses, accommodation, meals (half board) and group companies are covered by them (+12 € for replica: Club membership)..
The project is funded by the European Commission and the German-French Youth Office. In this framework, especially young adults with limited opportunities at present (Fellows, the unemployed) is called to apply. (Please submit your evidence in the application.)
